International Deep Silver SilverPlate Flatware, 63 piece set. Excellent Condition, very little tarnish, much less scratching than average for the age. 12 place settings plus extras and serving pieces. Vintage circa 1969.
Very nice and shiny, and Countess is a really pretty pattern! This is similar but even prettier than the Gorham's Chantilly Pattern that my Grandmother had, in my opinion, which is saying a lot since I had sentimental affection for the Chantilly pattern.
This 63-piece set includes twelve four-piece place-settings (Dinner Fork, Salad Fork, Teaspoon, and Dinner Knife), four Oval Soup Spoons, seven additional Teaspoons, and four Serving pieces which are a Solid Shell Casserole Server, a Solid Pierced Pie Server, a large Serving Spoon, and a Slotted Serving Spoon.
It says "International DeepSilver Silverplate" on the back of the handle of the Teaspoons and Salad Forks. It says "International DeepSilver" and "Countess" on the back of the handles of the Dinner Forks. Collectors Please Note: None of these pieces say "Korea". There are no visible markings on the Dinner Knives, which appear to have Stainless Steel blades and the 'modern' hollow handle. One of the Tea-Spoons is not "pierced", yet it has the same markings as the other Tea Spoons, as shown in a close-up picture.
